mLLDPE (Metallocene LLDPE) — product overview

mLLDPE-NA1 is metallocene linear low-density polyethylene produced on a single-site catalyst platform, of North American origin. The single-site catalyst delivers a narrow molecular-weight distribution and uniform comonomer placement, translating into higher puncture and dart-drop resistance, higher tensile strength at reduced film gauge, sharper optical clarity and stronger hot-tack than conventional Ziegler-Natta LLDPE. Together those properties support real-world down-gauging in stretch-hood, lamination, frozen-food and premium flexible-packaging films — the typical commercial reason converters switch. Because rheology differs materially from conventional LLDPE, film-line adjustments (screw profile, die gap, BUR) are usually required on first run. Origin, catalyst-family confirmation, resin datasheet and MFI are confirmed against the shipped lot.

§ 4First Aid Measures

▾

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Get medical advice if discomfort persists.
Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Get medical advice if irritation persists.
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice if discomfort persists.
Hot melt burns: For pellet-form products processed at melt temperature: cool affected area with cold water. Do NOT peel solidified polymer from skin — seek medical attention.

Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, dry chemical, CO2, foam.
Unsuitable media: None known.
Special hazards: Combustion may produce CO, CO2 and dense black smoke. Polymer melt drips during fire.
