Serving Ontario's automotive supply chain
Ontario's automotive cluster — anchored by assembly plants in Oakville, Brampton, Cambridge, Ingersoll, Oshawa and Alliston — supports a tier-2 plastics supply base of several hundred molders and compounders across the 401 corridor. These suppliers run on PPAP-disciplined material specifications where pigment or filler variation can scrap an entire production run and trigger an OEM containment.
Allzone supports this discipline with lot-traceable masterbatch and compound documentation. Every shipment carries a Certificate of Analysis tied to a specific production lot and primary raw-material lot, so a tier-1 quality department can perform full upstream traceability if a downstream defect surfaces.
Compounds and masterbatches in scope
Talc-filled PP at 20 % and 30 % filler loading for interior trim, instrument panels and door modules — the workhorse for Canadian-built mid-size and full-size vehicles.
Glass-reinforced PP (GRPP at 20 %, 30 % and 40 % glass) for structural components including front-end carriers and battery trays.
Mineral-filled PP for under-hood applications requiring elevated heat distortion temperature.
Impact-modified HDPE for fuel tanks and air ducts where ESCR matters.
Black PA6 / PA66 masterbatches at 40 % carbon black for cable management.
UV-stabilized exterior color masterbatches for cladding, mirror caps and grille components.
Lead time, MOQ and trial programs
Automotive-grade material qualification is a 6–18 month exercise involving PPAP submission, lot validation and field testing. We support qualification programs with 50 kg and 200 kg pre-series trial batches priced at production rates (no premium for trial volume) and full PPAP documentation including IMDS submissions where required.
Once qualified, production MOQ is typically 1 MT per color/grade. FCL supply (25 MT) is the most cost-effective for high-volume programs and allows us to commit a dedicated production lot at our partner compounder.

Frequently asked
Do you provide PPAP-grade documentation?
Yes. We provide level 3 PPAP documentation on request including CoA, dimensional reports, IMDS submission (where applicable), control plan extracts and master sample retention. Some PPAP elements require advance scheduling — request these at quotation stage.
Can you produce a trial batch matched to a competitor's compound?
Yes. Send a 1 kg sample of the incumbent compound and the OEM specification. We will run characterization (DSC, FTIR, ash) and produce a matched 50–200 kg trial batch within 6 weeks. PPAP qualification of the trial material is the OEM's process.
Do you supply IMDS data for automotive material declarations?
Yes. We submit IMDS sheets for all automotive grades on request. The submission references our primary raw-material suppliers' upstream IMDS data.
