AllZone-TIO900 is a rutile titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment surface-treated with alumina and silica. Rutile TiO2 is the industry standard for opacity, whiteness and outdoor UV chalking resistance in paints, coatings, plastics and paper. The alumina/silica surface treatment improves dispersion, exterior durability and pigment/binder wet-out — the practical reasons formulators pay a premium over untreated pigment.
