About this product

Cable Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH) FR — product overview

Cable-FR is a low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH / HFFR) matrix system for wire and cable jacketing, filed under category I because it is supplied as a ready-to-extrude polyolefin-based compound rather than a concentrate. The commercial reason to choose LSZH over halogenated systems is smoke density and gas toxicity in confined-space fire scenarios — telecommunication trunks, transit tunnels, data centres and public buildings. Because LSZH jackets are typically mineral-filled at high loading (ATH or similar), rheology, elongation and adhesion to the primary insulation must be checked against the target cable construction and line speed. Grade selection, mechanical spec confirmation and compliance documentation are handled at the RFQ stage; UL / IEC certification of the finished cable remains the responsibility of the cable manufacturer.

Document & COA status
  • TDS: Displayed properties are an Allzone technical reference; manufacturer documentation is available on request.
  • SDS: Safety data is subject to grade and supplier confirmation. One SDS does not necessarily apply to every grade or supplier.
  • COA: Certificate of Analysis is provided against the confirmed shipment, grade and batch. No stock, lead-time or regulatory claim is implied without written confirmation.
