About this product

Anti-Scratch Additive Masterbatch for Polypropylene — product overview

Auto-SC30 is an anti-scratch modifier for polypropylene interior automotive parts, based on siloxane chemistry. The modifier migrates to the part surface during moulding and cooling, creating a low-friction layer that resists the marring produced by fingernails, keys and abrasion during vehicle assembly and end-user service. It is engineered to work without introducing odour or fogging — two rejection modes routinely tested by OEMs on IP, door trim and console parts. The loading level and interaction with pigments, talc filler and slip agents must be validated on the customer's own compound. Full TDS is available at RFQ.

Hot melt burns
For pellet-form products processed at melt temperature: cool affected area with cold water. Do NOT peel solidified polymer from skin — seek medical attention.
