Moulding, Casting & Artificial Stone · Calculate & Specify
Cast stone batch and filler loading calculator
This tool performs arithmetic on numbers you enter. It does not hold a mix design, it does not know your resin, and it will never suggest a loading. Enter the ratio you already run, the size of the part and how many you make, and it returns the quantities to order — with the waste allowance made visible instead of hidden.
Your numbers
Nothing is pre-filled and nothing is assumed. If you do not know a value, leave it blank rather than guessing.
Enter mass per part, parts per run and your filler-to-resin ratio to see quantities. The tool will not compute anything from an assumed ratio.
Use this when
- You know your ratio and need to turn a production plan into a purchase quantity.
- You are pricing a run and need consistent per-batch and per-month tonnage.
- You changed part size or output and need the material call-off to follow.
How this works
- 1. Enter batch mass or part mass and the number of parts — every value is yours.
- 2. Enter your own filler-to-resin ratio and any pigment and additive percentages you already run.
- 3. Enter a waste allowance. The tool shows the result with and without it.
- 4. It multiplies. Nothing is inferred, assumed, defaulted or recommended.
What this page does not determine
- It does not design, validate, correct or recommend a mix. Every ratio is your input.
- It does not know your resin density, filler grade, moisture content or catalyst window.
- It makes no strength, finish, durability or shrinkage claim of any kind.
- Nothing on this page is a structural, strength, durability or code-compliance statement. Cast stone, precast and GFRC elements that carry load, span, or form part of a building envelope are engineering work and belong with a qualified engineer.
- Verify on a test patch or a sacrificial part before you change anything on a production run.
Relevant Allzone products
These are catalogue identities relevant to investigate. A listing here is not a recommendation to use the material in any process, and it is not a suitability, performance or compliance claim.
- Unsaturated Polyester Casting ResinThe traditional cast stone and cultured marble matrix resin.
- Acrylic (PMMA) Casting ResinAcrylic matrix used in solid-surface style cast parts.
- Polyester Gel CoatThe surface layer of a cast stone part — where most visible defects actually appear.
- Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) FillerThe dominant cast stone filler. Grade, mesh and moisture content are specification values, not assumptions.
- Aluminium Hydroxide (ATH)Mineral filler used where a translucent or non-chalky cast surface is wanted.
- Barium SulfateHigh-density mineral filler; changes mass per litre far more than most fillers.
- Graded Marble AggregateGraded carbonate aggregate for cast stone and terrazzo-style surfaces.
- Iron Oxide PigmentDominant colourant for cast stone and concrete; dispersion quality drives mottling.
- Defoamer / AntifoamAdditive investigated when entrained air survives into the cast surface.
- MEKP CatalystPeroxide initiator for polyester and vinyl ester systems; the resin data sheet defines its own ratio window.
Where this comes from, and what it cannot tell you
User-entered values only
Supports: The arithmetic applied to the numbers you type.
Limitation: The tool holds no mix design, no default ratio and no material database. Wrong inputs give wrong outputs.

Allzone catalogue specification data, cast stone shelf
Supports: Which resin, filler, aggregate and pigment identities the quantities can be quoted against.
Limitation: A catalogue identity is not a formulation recommendation.
