Spunbond Nylon Nonwoven Fabric — High-Strength Polyamide Roll Material
Allzone Trading supplies spunbond nylon nonwoven fabric to converters, composite fabricators and industrial manufacturers in Ontario, Quebec and across Canada. Polyamide spunbond is specified where tensile strength, tear resistance and temperature resistance matter more than cost per square metre. Basis weight, width, colour and treatment are confirmed against supplier technical data at quotation.

Technical & procurement detail
What spunbond nylon is+
Polyamide is extruded into continuous filaments and bonded into a nonwoven web in the same way as other spunbond materials. The difference is the polymer: nylon gives higher tensile and tear strength and a higher temperature ceiling than polypropylene or polyester spunbond, along with good abrasion behaviour.
When nylon is the right choice+
Nylon spunbond is specified when a lighter, cheaper polymer has already been ruled out — a process temperature the fabric has to survive, a tear or tensile requirement a PP web cannot reach, or an abrasion condition that would shed fibre. Where none of those apply, polypropylene or polyester spunbond is usually the correct and lower-cost material.
How specifications vary+
Basis weight, width, tensile and tear values, temperature behaviour, moisture regain, colour and roll dimensions vary with the manufacturing specification. Nylon absorbs more moisture than polyester or polypropylene, which affects dimensional behaviour in humid service and is worth stating in the enquiry.
What to include in your enquiry+
Send the basis weight, roll width, roll length and quantity, together with the application and the reason nylon is required — process temperature, strength value or abrasion condition. Any converting step such as coating, lamination or moulding should be stated.
Documentation and specification+
Allzone confirms basis weight, polymer and composition with the supplier before quoting and shares technical data for the exact material offered. No temperature rating or approval is claimed on this page without supplier documentation.
Frequently asked questions
What is spunbond nylon nonwoven used for?+
Composite and moulding process layers, reinforcement and carrier layers, higher-temperature filter support, and technical converting where high tensile and tear strength are specified.
Why choose nylon over polyester spunbond?+
For higher tensile and tear strength, better abrasion behaviour and a higher temperature ceiling. Where those are not required, polyester or polypropylene is usually the better commercial choice.
What temperature can it withstand?+
No temperature value is published here. The usable range is confirmed against supplier technical data for the exact material offered.
Are specific widths and colours available?+
Width, roll length and colour are specified per order and confirmed against supplier capability before quotation.
What quantities are quoted?+
Quantities are reviewed per enquiry, from trial rolls through to full production programmes.
