PP Spunbond Nonwoven Fabric — Industrial Nonwoven Roll Material

PP spunbond nonwoven fabric is a lightweight polypropylene web in which continuous filaments are extruded, laid down and bonded together, usually thermally, rather than woven or knitted. The result is a roll material with fabric-like handling and film-like production economics. It is an intermediate material: it is rarely the finished article, and is instead cut, sewn, laminated, printed or assembled into a converted product.

The material is supplied on rolls. Basis weight (GSM), roll width, roll length, colour and any surface or additive treatment are set by the manufacturing specification for the intended application. Because those variables define the material, a nonwoven enquiry is quoted from the specification rather than picked from a fixed catalogue of finished items.

Furniture and mattress manufacturing use it for mattress backing, dust covers, furniture backing, upholstery support layers, internal components and protective layers.
