Powder or masterbatch — the question we ask first
Calcium carbonate, talc and titanium dioxide are all supplied here in two forms. Neat powder suits a plant with a twin-screw compounding line and its own dosing and dust control. A masterbatch suits a converter feeding an extruder or moulding machine directly, where the mineral is already dispersed in a carrier resin at a fixed loading. The two are not interchangeable at the same dosage — a 75 % concentrate dosed like a neat powder will overload the formulation.
