Color Masterbatch — Pantone 485C (Pure Red) — product overview

CMB-485C is a pure-red colour masterbatch matched to Pantone 485C, on a virgin filler-free PE/PP carrier. The red band is one of the more demanding pigment families to hold across processing temperature and outdoor exposure; the filler-free carrier and virgin resin are chosen to preserve tinting power and batch-to-batch consistency. Selection considerations include the buyer's processing temperature, contact requirements (food, medical, packaging) and any UV-exposure requirement in the end-use — these are confirmed at RFQ so the correct pigment package is proposed.

§ 4First Aid Measures

▾

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Get medical advice if discomfort persists.
Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Get medical advice if irritation persists.
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice if discomfort persists.
Hot melt burns: For pellet-form products processed at melt temperature: cool affected area with cold water. Do NOT peel solidified polymer from skin — seek medical attention.

§ 5Fire-Fighting Measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, dry chemical, CO2, foam.
Unsuitable media: None known.
Special hazards: Combustion may produce CO, CO2 and dense black smoke. Polymer melt drips during fire.
PPE for firefighters: Self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and full protective gear.
