Is fumed alumina the same as aluminium hydroxide (ATH)?+
No. ATH is a mineral flame-retardant filler used at high loadings; fumed alumina is a pyrogenic aluminium oxide used at low loadings for surface and rheology effects. They are separate materials with separate specifications.
