Eco-Friendly Calcium-Zinc (Ca-Zn) Thermal Stabilizers — product overview

ST-CZ200 is a calcium-zinc (Ca-Zn) thermal-stabiliser system for rigid PVC extrusion. It is a lead-free alternative to legacy Pb/Ba/Cd systems, adopted globally by rigid PVC pipe, profile and sheet compounders responding to RoHS and REACH restrictions on heavy metals. Its practical role is to hold initial colour through the extrusion window and preserve outdoor weatherability across the finished profile's service life. Because rigid-PVC recipes vary in filler load, impact modifier and lubricant balance, the optimum addition rate and any co-stabiliser (e.g. β-diketones or organic co-heat-stabilisers) are formulation-specific. Grade selection, addition rate and full TDS/SDS are confirmed at RFQ against the compound and the target extruder.
