About this product

White Desiccant Masterbatch — 70–75% CaO — product overview

D-M75 is a Category-A white desiccant masterbatch on a PE/PP-compatible carrier at 70–75% active CaO, used to chemically eliminate moisture-related defects — bubbles, porosity and silver streaks — during extrusion of recycled polyolefins and mineral-filled compounds. Its commercial reason to exist is straightforward: recyclers and high-load compounders receive resin and filler with variable moisture, and drying alone is often uneconomic at production speeds; a moisture-scavenging masterbatch converts trace water into a stable calcium hydroxide inside the melt. D-M75 is filed under Category A because it is presented with a white masterbatch carrier that also contributes opacity. A related grade, AZ-DESI-CAO85, is filed under Category L with an 85% CaO loading and no white pigment claim — see the note below. Exact dosage is formulation-specific; supplier TDS/SDS and COA against the confirmed shipment are provided at RFQ.

Note: Related grade: AZ-DESI-CAO85 is our Category-L calcium-oxide desiccant masterbatch on a polyolefin-compatible carrier at 85% CaO. D-M75 is filed under Category A with a 70–75% CaO carrier that also contributes some whiteness. Both are moisture scavengers; the correct choice depends on the receiving line, base resin, target dosage and whether added opacity is wanted — confirm at RFQ.
