Bio-Based Custom Pantone Color Masterbatch — product overview

Bio-Color Series delivers custom Pantone-matched colour concentrates formulated on compostable bio-resin carriers — PLA and bio-starch systems — for eco-packaging runs where the finished pigment concentrate must be compatible with a compostable end article. The commercial reason to use a bio-carrier is straightforward: a conventional polyolefin colour concentrate would contaminate a PLA compost stream. Pigment palette selection is constrained by the bio-carrier's lower processing temperature window, so pigment stability and dispersion are formulation-specific. Regulatory compliance of the finished packaging item against food-contact or compostability standards is confirmed downstream on the buyer's converted article.

▾

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Get medical advice if discomfort persists.
Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Get medical advice if irritation persists.
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice if discomfort persists.
Hot melt burns: For pellet-form products processed at melt temperature: cool affected area with cold water. Do NOT peel solidified polymer from skin — seek medical attention.

Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, dry chemical, CO2, foam.
Unsuitable media: None known.
Special hazards: Combustion may produce CO, CO2 and dense black smoke. Polymer melt drips during fire.
