Quartz Aggregate — Engineered Stone and Resin Surface Grain

Allzone Trading supplies graded quartz aggregate to engineered stone producers, resin countertop fabricators, terrazzo manufacturers and industrial flooring formulators across Canada. Engineered quartz surfaces are largely aggregate by weight, so grain hardness, colour and packing behaviour decide both appearance and durability. Grading, purity and moisture are confirmed against supplier technical data at quotation.

Technical & procurement detail

Hardness is the commercial argument+

Quartz is significantly harder than carbonate aggregates, which is why engineered quartz surfaces resist scratching and wear better than cast marble products. In flooring, the same property is what keeps a topping serviceable under traffic.

Packing controls resin demand+

Engineered stone economics depend on how much aggregate can be packed into how little resin. A well-designed multi-size blend reduces binder consumption and shrinkage simultaneously, so grading work pays back directly in material cost.

Moisture and surface cleanliness+

Resin systems will not wet a damp or dusty grain properly, and the result is weak bonding and visible defects. Dried, washed material is standard for resin-bound work even when a wet-cast producer could tolerate moisture.

Specification options+

Working properties are configurable options within this canonical product, not separate products. Depending on the family, that can include grade, viscosity, mix ratio, pot life and demould time, hardness, colour, particle size or fibre length, and pack format. No configuration is presented as stocked or approved until it is confirmed against the supplier's technical data for the exact material offered. Supplier grade names, factory codes and manufacturer brands are not published here.

What to include in your enquiry+

Frequently asked questions

Is coloured quartz available?+

Colour and size are specification options within this canonical product, confirmed against samples and supplier data at quotation.

Which grading suits a countertop mix?+

It depends on the target appearance and resin content, so producers usually approve grading from trial slabs.

Are technical documents provided before ordering?+

Yes. The supplier technical data sheet and safety data sheet for the exact grade offered are provided with the quotation, and the working properties in those documents govern — not any general description on this page.

What quantities are quoted?+

Quantities are reviewed per enquiry, from trial quantities through to pallet and full container programmes for production users and distributors.
