Technical & procurement detail
Functional role of phytase in feed+
Phytase hydrolyses phytate, releasing phosphorus that monogastric animals otherwise excrete and freeing the minerals and amino acids that phytate binds. Applying it correctly means taking a matrix credit for phosphorus and calcium, not simply adding an enzyme on top of the existing formulation.
Specifying the grade+
Activity is declared in supplier-specific units that are not interchangeable between products, and thermostability decides whether a granulated enzyme survives conditioning or whether post-pellet liquid application is required. State your pelleting temperature, dosing equipment and the matrix credit you intend to take.
Documentation and specification+
Feed grade material is quoted against the specification your mill or premix formulation requires. Allzone confirms grade, declared content, physical form and any carrier or coating with the supplier before quoting, and shares the technical data sheet and safety data sheet for the exact material offered.
Frequently asked questions
Will granulated phytase survive pelleting?+
That depends on the coating and your conditioning temperature; where it will not, post-pellet liquid application is the alternative and is quoted separately.
Is this quoted as feed grade material?+
Yes. Feed grade is quoted as a separate specification from food or technical grade, with its own documentation for the exact material offered.
What packaging is available?+
Packaging is confirmed with the supplier at quotation for the grade and quantity discussed.
Can you deliver to feed mills across Canada?+
Yes. LTL and FTL freight is arranged across Ontario, Quebec and Western Canada, with container-direct supply for repeat volumes.
