L-Methionine — Grade Confirmed at Quotation

Allzone Trading supplies L-methionine to manufacturers in Ontario, Quebec and across Canada. Unlike the racemic DL form, this is the single L-isomer; assay, residual solvents, microbiological limits and any pharmacopoeial compliance depend entirely on the grade quoted and are confirmed against supplier documentation.

Technical & procurement detail

Functional role of l-methionine in feed+

L-Methionine is the biologically native isomer of the sulphur-containing essential amino acid, used where the specification or the process requires the L-form rather than the racemic DL mixture — for example in fermentation media, amino acid blends and nutritional formulations where the isomeric form is part of the specification.

Specifying the grade+

The grade decision comes before the price discussion. Pharmacopoeial designations such as USP, EP or JP are not a default attribute of this product and are only valid where the supplier's own certification for the offered lot states them. State the intended application, the required assay and the certification and testing regime you must satisfy, and the corresponding grade is quoted with its documentation.

Documentation and specification+

Feed grade material is quoted against the specification your mill or premix formulation requires. Allzone confirms grade, declared content, physical form and any carrier or coating with the supplier before quoting, and shares the technical data sheet and safety data sheet for the exact material offered.

Frequently asked questions

Is L-methionine interchangeable with DL-methionine?+

They are separate products. DL-methionine is a racemic mixture normally traded as feed grade, while L-methionine is the single isomer and is quoted against the grade and certification your application requires.

Is this quoted as feed grade material?+

Yes. Feed grade is quoted as a separate specification from food or technical grade, with its own documentation for the exact material offered.

What packaging is available?+

Packaging is confirmed with the supplier at quotation for the grade and quantity discussed.

Can you deliver to feed mills across Canada?+

Yes. LTL and FTL freight is arranged across Ontario, Quebec and Western Canada, with container-direct supply for repeat volumes.
