Dithiophosphate Flotation Collector
Dithiophosphate collectors are dialkyl esters of dithiophosphoric acid, supplied as liquids and used as selective sulphide collectors. They collect less aggressively than long-chain xanthates but discriminate better against pyrite and iron sulphides, which is why concentrators run them alongside a xanthate to lift precious-metal recovery without pulling iron sulphide into the concentrate. Many also carry useful frothing character of their own. Allzone quotes this material per enquiry: grade, packing, origin, documentation and Incoterm are decided in your quotation, not fixed by this page.

Technical & procurement detail
What a dithiophosphate collector does in a circuit+
It adsorbs selectively onto valuable sulphide surfaces and renders them hydrophobic while leaving iron sulphides comparatively unaffected, and it often contributes some froth character. It is commonly dosed as a secondary collector with a xanthate primary, so that recovery and selectivity are tuned independently. The combination and dosage are established by plant testwork.
What decides the grade you actually need+
The separation problem decides the collector: how much pyrite rejection you need, whether silver or gold values ride with the sulphides, and how the reagent will interact with the xanthate already in the circuit. State the ore, the current reagent scheme, the circuit stage and your dosing arrangement, and the material is quoted against that. Selection is confirmed by trial on your own ore.
Dithiophosphates against xanthates and thionocarbamates+
Dithiophosphates are a distinct collector class, not a xanthate grade: different chemistry, different selectivity and a liquid presentation. Thionocarbamates are a third class again, generally more selective against iron sulphides in copper circuits, with their own page. Individual alkyl chain lengths and blended collector formulations are grade and formulation dimensions handled inside this record rather than published as separate pages.
Specification conventions and how to state yours+
Suppliers report active content, solution strength, particle presentation and impurity limits in different conventions, and the numbers are not interchangeable between them. State the convention your specification uses along with the property window you actually need, and comparison is made like for like against producer data for the grade offered.
What this page does not state+
This page asserts no purity, assay, active content, concentration, moisture, pH, density, dosage rate, performance figure, approval, registration, certification, origin, packing, minimum quantity, availability, lead time or price. Every commercially meaningful value is taken from producer documentation for the exact grade offered and confirmed in writing before order.
Sourcing and origin+
Allzone sources this material through producer channels and quotes it per enquiry. Origin, production route and shipping point are selected against your technical requirement, quantity, documentation need and destination, and are stated in the offer rather than fixed by this page. Freight, discharge point and packaging format move landed cost, so quotations are compared delivered to your plant.
Documentation supplied with an offer+
Technical data sheet, safety data sheet and certificate of analysis for the exact grade offered are requested from the producer and shared with the quotation. Handling, storage, incompatibility and personal-protection requirements are treated as SDS questions for the specific grade rather than figures published here. Where a declaration matters to your application — food contact, cosmetic, potable water, feed or regulatory — it is confirmed for that grade and intended use rather than assumed from this page.
How Allzone quotes this+
Send the process it goes into, the function you need it to perform, the property window your specification calls for in your own convention, the annual and per-shipment quantity, the packaging format your intake can receive, the documentation required per shipment and the delivery province or port. Several materials can be listed in one enquiry and reviewed together rather than split into separate requests.
Frequently asked questions
Does Allzone publish a price for dithiophosphate flotation collector?+
No. Price, minimum quantity, origin, packing and lead time depend on the grade, the volume and the destination, and are confirmed at quotation. Nothing on this page is an offer.
Which grades or presentations can be quoted?+
Liquid collector presentations, Secondary and blended collector programmes, Packaging and dosing format are handled inside this single product record. Grades, concentrations and applications of one material are not published as separate pages; the grade offered and its published data are confirmed in the quotation.
