Blends of this type are used in cleansing balms, soap-style facial washes and shampoo bars, as a primary cleansing base rather than a secondary surfactant. Foam texture, working pH and rinse feel should be evaluated for the selected grade in your own base.

Design around the working pH of a soap-containing system and verify hard-water behaviour, since potassium soaps respond to water hardness. Assess foam creaminess, rinse feel and the stability of any acid-sensitive actives you intend to add.
