Orange is where the gap between "looks right in the sample" and "survives processing" is widest. Ask suppliers for the pigment index and the heat-stability window at your processing temperature. If the process runs near or above 240 °C, benzimidazolone or inorganic chemistry is usually the safer starting point.

"Orange" is undefined. Suppliers need a shade reference: a Pantone code, a physical chip, or a ΔE tolerance versus a retained standard. "Safety orange" is a common market term but must still be anchored to a reference to avoid batch-to-batch variation.
