LLDPE Masterbatch
What Is LLDPE Masterbatch?
LLDPE Masterbatch is a concentrate — pigment or functional additive dispersed in a Linear Low-Density Polyethylene carrier resin — used to color or modify LLDPE parts during processing.
Typical Processing Methods for LLDPE
Blown Film, Cast Film, Rotomolding, Injection Molding.
Grade & Concentration Notes
- Melt-flow matching. LLDPE film lines are sensitive to carrier–host MFI mismatch — a mismatched carrier reduces dart-drop and tear strength before it shows visually.
Metallocene LLDPE (mLLDPE) is more sensitive to additive interactions than Ziegler-Natta grades; declare which you run.
Typical Applications
Stretch film, heavy-duty shipping sacks, agricultural film, freezer bags, rotomolded tanks.
